Welcome to Our Crazy Life!

Welcome to my life

This is my crazy crew of kids looking normal

This is what it looks like most of the time

This year we have 4 kids in school

Drew - 4th grade - Loves anything on the computer/playstation/Ipad, Legos, Robots, Lego robots, making his sister crazy, playing board games and avoiding anything that might resemble school work or writing.

Sarah - 1st grade - The almost perfect student - Is always the first one to ask what she can do for school, loves almost anything you give her, but is stubborn and won't work if she thinks something is too hard. Sits under the table pouting when something seems to hard but I've learned the whole time she is down there she is figuring things out in her head. Taught herself to read at age 4 and hasn't slowed down since. Most nights you can find her trying to read by the light of her night light.

Ryan - Kindergarten - Ryan is our athlete and has very little interest in learning to read although he does love math. Most days you can find him in the yard playing, digging in the dirt and otherwise just being a boy with his little brother.

Evan - Preschool 3's - Loves his Ipad, Rescue Bots, and playing outside with Ryan. Evan has Apraxia of Speech. We've been working with the school SLP since he turned 3 last fall. He has made great strides this past year. Now that he's found his voice we are hoping to keep adding more consonant sounds to his list. He went from November 2013 saying about 40 words that only family could understand to Summer of 2014 saying 6-7 word sentences that are starting to become more intelligible to others as he has picked up about 8 consonant sounds this year.

Lauren - 8 months - Learned to pull up and army crawl so now she's always into everything. She never got the memo that she's the 5th baby and is the neediest of all my kids. We do a lot of work with Lauren climbing on me, being worn on my back or during the few short naps she occasionally takes.
